Fernando Pessoa had not only a vast knowledge, but also wisdom. But he could not survive his addition to alcohol. Aleister Crowley developed immense power, but that was not enough to win his heroin addition. What was lacking in each one and / or both of them ?
And the really Great Men ? Were their lives easy ?
No, no one becomes a Great Man with an easy life. But a tough life does not implicate a special destiny.
